Hello everyone! I just joined up with the hopes that I can create some kind of accountability and camaraderie through this forum. Basically I wish I were drawing every day all the time, but self discipline is hard, and I often spend too much time on Netflix or whatever instead of honing my skills.

My plan is to lurk around for a few weeks, and then hopefully be inspired by this hopefully awesome community, and hopefully get over my weird fear of internet forums, and then hopefully build some lifelong friendships, and hopefully become a top-rate artist/illustrator.

I've never used this before, besides stuff like Deviantart (or twitter, tumblr, etc.) . But besides that I don't put my art out there too much... I don't know how to upload my art on here so much, but i'll figure it out. I usually work on my art for about more than half of the day. and that's pretty much bad because of me having school and stuff.

Hi there, my name is Max, 18 years old and i'm from the Netherlands.
Im working hard to become a concept artist/illustrator, and am in my second year studying game-art at GLR.

Some of you might have seen me before on the CD Skype chats or some livestreams~ but i've finally decided to join the forum because it seems fun :P

Though i probably won't be as active as i'd like to be beside the sketchbook i'm about to make because i'm still in school and have to travel 3 hours a day for it. but because of those 3 hours, there will be lots of sketches ;D

I'm Charlie, 22, a graphic designer turned illustrator living in Australia. Graphic design's a pretty cool guy, but art's my real passion. I quit my GD job recently to do it on a freelance basis so I can spend more time pursuing my art career. In a couple years time I want digital art to be my bread-earner. If I can get good enough, being a concept artist one day would be pretty dope.

Let's become art friends! I want to buddy up with people who are as dumb/stubborn/blindly-in-love-with-art as I am, so we can bang our heads against a brick wall together. Would love to Skype and talk nonsense while pushing pixels into the early hours of the night.

Below is a sample of some of my old work.I'm looking to weed out my fanart of stiffly posed babes and boring static portraits with original, thought-inspiring work. The purple bear is Pencilbear, my little monster. Expect to see more of this original character as I develop the project further ;)
