Right so, Short introduction about me...

My name is Adrian and im a male 23 year old multimedia student from Norway.
Currently working towards a Bachelor in multimedia technology.
If everything goes as I plan my finished paper will be on Concept art/design production for movie/tv/games. We will see when I start writing it next year.

Thats my day to day activity at the momment.
With the rest of my time I draw, paint and design things.
Since late 2012 ve painted quite a bit of environments and landscapes.
I felt like they were a good way to get some experience painting without having to deal with problems like hard edge perspective or anatomy issues.
I work on Anatomy and Perspective traditionally but dont have any of them scanned on this pc.

Hello my name is Dino Stipicevic aka Greatdictator and im from Croatia

I was suggested here by a friend a couple of years ago , heard you guys are rather helpfull with things like paintovers , tips etc.

Now im not gonna lie i tried this sort of thing with ConcetpArt.org and my defensive nature (im less defensive now) led to it being a rather akward short stay .Plus just about everybody on these kind of forums is like A level material from the get go anyway from what i usually see and that makes me feel out of place.

But since i want to actually improve and feedback is really needed to become that ive decided to give this another go so hopefully my stay here will end up being better

I like a good variety of styles from realistic to cartoony from high detail to minimalist style etc

Ive also never had formal lessons apart from basics till recently so hopefully that will give a little bit of perspective on my junk.

But yeah heres some of the stuff im more proud of / is recent:

My name is Marek. I'm 30 years old, I come from Poland and I used to study architecture. Right now I'm working as 2d artist in game company which is doing almost exclusively casual games. That's a good start into career but for the future I want to do more of art that I was going for from the very beginning which is the one with gritty realistic style and focused more on design and storytelling. I'm also lately a lot into comics but at this point I treat this more as hobby than career path as I'm too much of a beginner.

Why am I here? Few years ago I was regularly posting on conceptart.org forums. Then came the job which took all my attention from posting personal artwork. Nowdays though I feel like I need additional motivation to draw my own things every day and facebook doesn't give that entirely (even though it's great for posting too). On top of that recently I changed password to my CA.org account beacause of hacker attacks and now I don't remember what it was (lost password mechanism doesn't work as it should).

This place looks like fun place to visit though. I'm looking forward to know you and learn even just a bit more :).

It is a pleasure to meet all of you. My Name is Derek Weselake and I go by the pen name WEZ.

The Story:
I graduated from art school a couple years ago and found I wasn't at all were I wanted to be, I hardly drew, I was overweight... then one night, I took a long run in the rain crying as I darted through the outskirts of my city. When at last I was exhausted lying on the grass in a field with no one around, I was at peace, everything made sense. I knew I had to change everything about me... so I did. in about 4 months I lost 60 pounds, took a in depth anatomy course, everywhere I went I examined everything from how things are built, to expressions on people, and how light and color actually work, and made a whole new set of artwork for a convention where I also got featured in their art book. All of these gave me the important realization basically that everything I do contributes to my art career in some way, so why not make a game out of it? and see if I can literally take something towards bettering myself out of anything and everything that I do in life.

This has left my art school friends confused and disconnected as all they do now is talk about video games and anime and hardly draw. I love them dearly but they just ignore the minute I bring up artwork, but I know there are others with a passion that rules their life like myself. So I have come to this forum in hopes of better becoming part of the community that shares the same passion as me that will shape the future. :)

Anyways i'm here to work twice as heard on my dream to make animation & great looking web comics sadly i'm horrible at perspective & coloring etc but from the looks of it... You guys are far beyond my current reachable dream, but yea will be here seeing if this place will help me or not, not sure how many novices you guys had in the past.

Hey there, nice to meet you all! I'm an 18 years old and from Alaska. I'm currently a freshman studying Computer Science at a university but can't shake my love of art.

I've been lurking around here for a while and decided I should start participating more. I'm still a beginner but I think getting involved with a community of like-minded people like this would really help motivate me to create and refine my skills. :)
