Hello everyone! Finally decided to stop lurking/admiring from afar and actually join and make something of myself.

My name is Nicole. I am 21 years old and I've been drawing ever since I can remember. I am currently attending a local community college and am almost finished with my Associates in Graphic Design. I also attend AnimSchool and am going through the Character Design program.

My goals are to discipline myself to become more productive, improve my artwork by getting feedback/advice, and build a strong portfolio. Long term goals are to find an art job whether it be at a studio or as a freelance artist.

I hope to get to know everyone a little better here. :) I can't wait to get my sketchbook started!

How's it going?

My (real) name is Elizabeth. I'm working as a graphic designer right now, but I've become more and more interested in concept/fantasy art. Sadly, my drawing skills aren't where I'd like them to be right now but I've been practicing diligently for a couple months now. Mostly with basic shapes and the human figure. Seen some improvements, but still have a lot more to learn!

Anyways, I've been looking for an active community of artists to relate to and share my progress with and I found you all.

So, yeah. LOL :)

I was directed here by an artist on deviant art who told me this is a great site to learn, improve, and meet other people who love art. Really looking forward to that! Still looking around here but hopefully I'll have stuff to share soon. :)

Hey Daggers, I made this account a while ago and even started a sketchbook before posting this thread, however I think it'd be nice to put myself "out there" a little, since I've been neglecting the social side of drawing for a while.

Well :) I'm 17, in college atm doing a Graphics Design course which I'll be on for 2 years (if I stay on) I'm very inspired by artists like Miles Johnston and Sam Carr, who're also from the UK and were quite young (well, younger than me) when they started seriously drawing. Sometimes I think I'm taking this maybe too seriously for my age (mainly because of other people's opinions) but then I'm reminded that there are people out there working harder! So I just study hard when I can and do my best to balance out college work, social life, etc.

So yep, not much so much an introduction as me rambling but I hope we can inspire each other, I've already learnt a lot from lurking here :)
