Hey guys,
I will start this off without too many words. My name is Sascha, I'm from Germany - currently attending Martin-Luther University Halle-Wittenberg.
I always thought that art is something magical. Talent. But I'm here to work my ass off and show myself that we - the passionate ones - can do it.
I'm looking forward to critiques and advice. Helping others if I can is another aim of mine.
Okay, I gotta draw.
See ya, guys.

Hey, hello there CD folks.
I joined the Daggers due to it having a reputation of being a collective of hard working, dedicated artists. After the series of fiascos surrounding CA.org this year (and some pretty big ones in previous years), I decided that I'd had enough of CA.org. I want to be where 'the focus' is, and from what I hear, it's right here.
A little about myself: I am a recent TAD graduate (2D Entertainment Design) and I am looking to get into the fantasy TCG/CCG scene. While I have many artistic interests, this is the one area I'd like to focus on for now.
You can check out my work on my blog here:
The Moving Room
Links to my pages on DeviantArt, CGHub, LinkedIn and Facebook are all on there.
I wish to contribute as much as I can in addition to learning from others as much as I can.
Hope to hear from you soon. Cheers.

Hello Daggers, I'm Feline - nice to meet you!
I've spent all my youth playing around in Photoshop creating Graphics. Now that I'm in University, I realize I have potential - and I should use it. The last year, I've gotten really serious about art. Before that I've just done it as a hobby - to be honest - I haven't really drawn anything with substance before this year. I really want to know what I'm drawing and why, not just have shiny effects. And always keep pushing, there is enough to learn.
Well then, let's help each other grow!

Hi, I'm an art school grad from Ringling College with a focus on Illustration. I spent the last year figuring out where I wanted to go and do and now I am pursuing a career in pattern and apparel design (at least for now). Ever since I graduated I've really missed the artistic community there and the great critiques and inspiration I got from my colleagues, hopefully Crimson Daggers can help me to continue to improve. Take a look at my portfolio or DA and I look forward to working and drawing with you all!

Whats up Crimson Daggers?
My name is Michiel Baartman, 20 years old and I live in the Netherlands.
Just started going to an art school and met someone there who introduced me to this site, and after lurking about for a week I felt it was only proper to introduce myself.
Seems like a cool place to keep my sketchbook up to date and share art geeky-ness.
Gotta pump up my art skills higher.
What more is there to say? I guess I'll see you guys around on the other parts of the forum!

Greetings Borthers and Sisters!
I've been a lurker here for a few years and have finally come out of the shadows. I found this place almost by accident. I think I had followed a link to Brad Rigney's work and the breadcrumbs eventually led here and to the Livestream channels. Pure inspiration!
This came at a time when I was having doubts about what I was doing. The livestream re-lit a fire that had been burning low for a few years. I won't bore you with all of the details, but I work as a professional comic book artist. I got my start at IDW Publishing by penciling and inking a story in Gene Simmons's House of Horrors. I've also had some inking work (Ghostbusters: The Other Side, and G.I Joe: Origins). Most of my paid comic work has been as a color artist and I currently work for Hi-Fi Design on books for DC and Early Readers books for Marvel/Disney Worldwide Publishing.
I'm at a strange point in my career where I still love comics, but I'm falling out of love for the industry and how things are run. I'm appreciative of the opportunities afforded to me, but there is more that I want to to. My current goals are to work more on my own ideas and properties, whether it's graphic novels, comics, or game art. Video games are my second passion and I dream of creating a few in my lifetime. I have a little knowledge of UI/Ux Design, but no implementation. My love is more in line with illustration than design. I love to draw and plan on dedicating more time to it this year (it's harder to do when you have a 2 1/2 year-old and wife to spend time with too )
I look forward to the continued inspiration through this forum. It makes me yearn for the old Eatpoo days, and apedogs seems to be very quiet....ahhh, the good ol' days.
Cheers to growth Brothers and Sisters!

-Needs help learning to paint digitally
-Would like learn from all of you, and eventually join the masses of digital artists.
Hey guys, this is sails. I am excited to use this site as a learning block for my newly purchased Intous Pro. I aspire to create original digital art through photoshop CS6 and incorporate said art into my reference portfolio for oil painting and graphite drawing. However all art i create with my tablet will also be documented and used as album art, graphic art, wallpapers, ect. I would love to create animation, however i do not yet feel i have that skill set.
Style: Freelance, City, Indie, Thought Provoking, Architectural
Inspiration: Aragah, Supakitch and Koralie, Mr. Suicide Sheep Playlists, Full Metal Alchemist, Francisco Goya, and many more
PLEASE COMMENT WITH SUPPORT (:
