Hello... I'm Split. I've known about this forum for a while but was kind of intimidated and hesitant to join because of my skill level. From what I've seen there are some awesome artists on this site. I finally mustered up the courage and realized that getting in contact with people who are better artists than myself can only be a good thing. I've been doodling for a long time but didn't get pretty serious about learning fundamentals until about 5 months ago. Now that I've joined the forum I'm pretty excited to get going and posting! :D

Been practicing for about a year in the dark but I feel that need to connect with a community now.
I have been doing 3D animation and modeling and started drawing because I wanted to improve my 3D skills. After drawing for some months I realized that concept art and illustration was the thing I wanted to work with. So I quit the school I was attending and now I live with my parents, sitting in my room, drawing.

hello, i'm genice. 15. female. canadian. this is my first time joining a forum, everything is quite new to me (i'm still trying to figure out how everything works and get used to the layout of the website.. haha) i started getting into digital art about a year ago. currently, i consider myself as an amateur hobbyist artist (though in the future, i'm hoping to study art at an art school, and eventually land some kind of art job) i still have a ton of stuff to figure out and learn. i'm joining this forum in hopes of getting more feedback on the things i draw, as well as meeting other like-minded art people to discuss things with. looking forward to my time here ^^

Hello All! I'm a brand new digital artist, exploring different forums in search of places were I can post my art and get meaningful, helpful critiques to help me grow and become better! I started practicing almost 5 months ago, and when I graduated 2 months ago I began practicing about 18 hours a day (except for those days where I neglect sleep altogether). I hope everyone will help me grow as an artist here!

I'm just a fledgling draftsman and dreamer here, hoping to land a good position in an art college so that I can devote my life to art, and creating fantastic creatures, characters, and stories through 2D and 3D images!

Just joined this awesome forum. I am a software developer that wants to become a really good artist. My long term goal is to become good enough to work as a professional 2d artist in the game/movie industry (but I have a long way to go heh =). I am really motivated and hardworking and my main reason the join this forum is to hang out with other artists and help them(when I get good enough =)), participate in groups/challenges and get some critique that will help me achieve my long term goal! =).
