2 hour (cheating) and I screwed up the perspective anyway... -_-
then a hr Sargent study. I think I might focus on my raw drawing skills for a bit unless the assignment requires color.

still life from today. 1.9.14
still having issues moving faster, but its good so I don't switch-off and move into render mode. It was also nice to have a chance to apply some of the stuff I learned from ctrl-paint. :}

After 60 minutes and after 275 minutes, was great practice!
Learned more about: Value, form, face, light and material.

Here is my studies from today along with my beginning figure sketch. This sketch is a turn around of a basic human figure with what I know already now. I will do another one at the end of the week and I think at the beginning and end to each week doing a different type of theme each time and see what I have learned from my studies. This is all something I am personally doing you can as well if you like. But I did this gladiator first with photo reference then I did it from my head. I took notes as well and suggest everyone else should take notes as well and analyze your works more, understand why things look the way they do understand what each line does and what purpose they serve.
