@devares: I don't do a lot of traditional aside from drawing in my sketchbook when I'm out and about, and I'm not a huge fan of exploring a mixture of traditional mediums (hence why my sketchbook is only pencil OR ink) since I'm more focused on the drawing/technique aspect. I have this mindset where traditional is for technique and digital is where I get more creative and so my sketchbook is usually filled with observational drawings of people.
Value studies and compressing values. Pretty fun.
Thumbnails WIP for future story events. Trying to keep it simple yet effective.

Your quantity and discipline are on point. I really like the way you implement your influences and still keep it fresh too.
Keep figuring out those values! I need to do the same, actually :D.

Think I'm getting the hang of the not-flat-face thing.

on thing that helps me a lot in digital sketching is pulling the proportions down, like to elongate the entire sketch. It can really add a good kick to a drawing ;), especially if it looks pudgy

Really nice stuff here Hozure :). Your work has really nice structure and your painting is fantastic - magical works here.
Keep working - looking foward to more :).

At last, Hozure! I saw your drawings of some naked ladies! MOAR! :D BTW, I enjoy your construction lines, how did you develop those? It seems you're pretty good at wrapping them lines around the form, which makes the latter very clear. Have to try that, oh yeah, I do. Cheers! ;)

@AngeliquevdMee : The leveling is coming along slowly :P
@devares : I draw a lot on the transit, and people are always moving quickly so I gotta find a shorthand and capture form as quick as I can, then I worry about the outlines after. Or vice versa. Whichever I feel like. Helps tons with foreshortening.
@Fedodika : thx m8

This is some really nice work dude, you also seem to have a really good grasp on how to apply your studies and realism to your stylized stuff, I love it :D.
btw have you studied Cushart Krenz by any chance? some of these figure studies are reminding me of hes methods.

@Trigger: Thanks! Haven't studied him extensively, mainly glossed over and peeked here and there. I actually didn't realize those body/form sketches belonged to him until very recently, but yeah I love his stuff.
Not sure if I'm doing notan correctly. How much detail I can include before it loses the simple message purpose?

Looking good, Hozure. ;) How much detail? If it's unreadable when you look at it from a distance (or zoomed out), it's too much. ;)
