What a detailed scene.I really like how you played with the darker value on the back room and the more lit foreground nice effect it really help push that natural lighting and interior kinda quality to the light.
What i would say for the skin of the women is that the quality of the light look more nature on the neck than the rest of the body.I don't know if she suppose to be like some kinda of frank stein type of girl she very pale almost yellowish. But if you want to make someone look dead actually you want the skin to be more greyish atleast where less light hit in the shadow if that what you were going for. As for the table she on did you take reference from it?If i remember those surgery table if it one. They have hole to drain the body fluid after an autopsy there should be atleast a hole somewhere but that not important it just additional detail you could add to clarify the function of the object.

Awesome illustration! The scene itself looks very natural and you captured it well. Reminds me a bit of Norman Rockwell's work but with a sci-fi twist, very well done!

darktiste, thanks, probably you're right about her skin, although i kinda like the way it turned out. I did use ref for the table, it actually has a sink on its side but I decided not to paint it.
cg, thanks Here's an oil painting WIP.

Looking great so far! Always impressed how you tackle complex scenes. Colors and skin tones already look great!

Those women head a definitively kinda small maybe it just a scale thing do you draw a specific nationality? The shoulder seem also kinda large. Is it the same model for all the female drawing?
Just draw more female and do comparative anatomical study that my suggestion. It by constrast that we see subtlety.

I'm not accurate with these drawings and am pretty well aware of it. It's just a form of exercise, and i do them rather quickly and loosely, more for the fun of it to be honest. Some are ok, some are completely off, I'm alright with it. Take care, man.

Really nice studies and keep the great work! Maybe consider working more in black and gray to understand working with value more is my best advice for now.

The dynamic range of the values in these figures you've been doing are a bit squashed. We should be seeing some specular highlights on smoother materials, and even on figures the hair and the more oily parts of the skin. There also doesn't seem to be enough ambient occlusion shadows. The result is a narrow dynamic range that looks a bit like washed out grays.

Lillen, thank you
Lunatique, that was something i aimed for, to paint within a narrow value range, might have overdone it a bit. Although I get your point. Thanks for stopping by. :)

I dont personally find the design to be convincing as prostetic/bionical enchancement they look to heavy there is no realistic reason i can imagine for why the limb would be larger then the original unless the limb is specific to a functional use because otherwise if it the normal everyday prostetic/bionical enchancement you would want something that is light and probably similar to your other limb.
Since the intention are not share this what i would think.

I think that amongst the last pages you shared, the one with the man wearing a suit and helmet next to the robot is fairly convincing. I agree with Lunatique about the value range but on this particular page you did better keeping it narrow while incorporing a bit of ambient occlusion at the intersections of the suit and under the robots structure.
It's true that it lacks a bit of strong highlights especially if the suit is supposed to be a hard and smooth surface, and if the robot is covered on steel-like plates. Cool designs nonetheless well done

darktiste, there was and there is no intent with these drawings I'm making, it's a practice I guess and a great deal of fun. The utility part of these designs hasn't even occurred to me to be honest, since I'm not doing it for commercial use or some project i don't even think how to make them look functional or convincing.
