Preparing to take on portrait commissions so wanted to see how long it would take me to render one to my liking.
About 6 hours apparently

@Febro
I know the proportions aren't too accurate. I was over emphasizing to try get the shapes stuck in my head, kinda the way going a bit more blocky helps me get forms remembered. you aren't wrong though! I'm just experimenting with ways I can better absorb info from studies and I feel the over emphasizing does help but I will probably need to then revisit proportion basics. Trying to beak up the info I'm trying to take in I guess? lol here's some foot studies.. I thought I'd rather concentrate on lines cos I wanna get better at drawing without reference so i can sketch out more appealing characters quick and easy

tbh bro there's only two of those heads i see an issue with and its the dark one near the top (smaller one) and the other brown skinned one near the center of the bottom. Their eyes are just place weird or too big, but the rest are pretty accurate for the most part :)

Life's been a bit rough on me the past few months/years..
but anyway, here's some paintings I did for my friends Burger joint Boy I find it daunting laying designs over fabric.. but I'm satisfied enough with how it turned out I used the opportunity to do a master study of this Michelangelo and then added the extra bits after I don't do master copies much and there are so many variations in color of this image online. did what I could and think I took away some new knowledge and appreciation for the work

I like the concept! I think she'd benefit from some tighter rendering, like making the strokes less chalky and more slick, or maybe more reflective. or maybe just think of how to add some pop to the image via making the big white design on the torso more sharp and pronounced; Love the spiderwebs and composition ;)
