Cool stuff!. I would like to see more drawings, one thing I would say is some of your drawings are dropping down a bit to the left ( happens to me constantly ;_; ). I really like the master study and the skull keep up the awesome work Wolk.

I need to update more often.. :/
the last two i did for the portrait speed challenge A picture i did for a Challenge about underwater vehicles... speedpaint fabrics challenge a hatching dragon - got the idea from a photo of a little armadillo.. some fast enviro studies some Metal & Armor Speed studies and finally those crappy drawings are from my first live drawing session. Kinda difficult in several aspects like using a pencil and not a photo reference and all... the proportions are way off and i feel bad for the model that was in fact a nice looking woman and looked quite different than my pictures suggest... :) Need to work on proportions hard before the next session - it was nevertheless a lot of fun...

I've just discovered your sketchbook. The first girl studies look awesome, as does the skull study. Where did you get that skull from and how big is it? The last head studies are looking good, too. Keep it on. :)

Christof Grobelski has a big file with a lot of super good photos of a skull on his page. http://www.cgbrush.org/p/downloads.html (10-15-2012, 06:29 AM)Black Wrote: I think you are really getting better. i see quite good improvement in your life drawings as well. Bravo for just two sessions. Thanks, Black. I did a lot of pencil sketches between the two sessions to help me getting better. Can only suggest this to anybody. It helps a lot more than digital drawings when you have no direct side by side comparison of the pictures. |
