My names Sam and I can't wait to be a part of this community! I'm really excited to hone my skills and be part of an environment that encourages artistic development.

I'm currently a student attending California State Channel Islands, majoring in Fine Art. But I really want to do concept art for a living! I have thread up in the Finished Work forum if you're interested in checking that out!

I'm not going to put my older work up on this site because I only want to do new work here. I'm trying to put together a portfolio this summer and I want to tailor the pieces in the correct way, and that means doing more work! Which is super exciting!

But actually, i suck with both. So i'm here to put my work, and to be like "sup' guys, here's my new stuff".

I paint naked women (and i'm searching group to paint naked people, or nature things, robots, cup of tea, etc).

Hi. My name is Tobias Frank and i am a concept artist from Germany. I decided to join Crimson Daggers because I am really in need for motivation to focus on practice in my spare time. I studied industrial design and now at work I usually draw vehicles/machinery/architecture. It's fun, but the problem is that it's kinda one sided and i lack experience when it comes to characters/environments/illustrations. Therefore I decided to join your forum to focus my practice on these subjects.

I hope to meet some other motivated artists to draw/learn/suffer together :)

Helo people, I'm Nick and I'm a visual arts student. I found out about this forum some days ago and I can tell there are some amazing artists here!
I've decided to take the illustration carreer seriously before I finish college, so here I am, hoping to improve as much as I can and help others improve, if possible.

I see there are some mentoring stuff here, (which looks pretty interesting) as well as some other tools for improvement, but I'm not quite sure how they work. I've read a couple of threds in each, but I'm not sure if I've got it right.
If I want to get my work critizised, advices, or if I just want any tool for improvement, where do I start?

Annnyways, I'm 18 going on 19 this year and have been accepted into an art school (RMCAD of CO, USA). I will be going in for illustration and hopefully coming out with some awesome knowledge and even awesome-r connections, which by the way is my goal for this website too!
I've heard about Crimson Daggers from various artists I watch on YouTube and have been creepin' around on this site for a bit to see if I can handle such a forum; I guess only time will reveal how things go.
I'm not sure on when I'll start to upload things since life tends to kick me around in all sorts of directions, but I do wish to have some sort of silly sketchbook thread up and going soon :P
