Good call on making a sketchbook, gracing us with your killer lines and freaky turtles! Not gonna jump on any critique yet. But I really like your grasp of form and playfulness with proportions. Solid lineweight going on too. Looking forward to more man!

I said lines twice, but that's because they're that good.

I agree with bjulvar, awesome linework and turtles! The first turtle has a unique expression that you usually don't see in turtle fanart!

Bjulvar, looking forward to any/all crits you may have.

Here is some stuff from a few days ago...

Working to get some motion in the characters.

Here is a doodle of Bane. Started playing with color a bit on this one...not sure if I will continue.

Quick sketch of a dwarf...decided to add the background afterward to work on some environment sketchin'. Need to redo the dwarf's face...not at all happy with it.

Looking sweet, that figure is coming along nicely! :) That doodle of Bane has one thing that caught my eye - very nice color variations on his arm, 3-4 different hues on one surface (skin), do that more often ;)! Keep rockin'!

Nice Poop you have here! hahaha. Great characters and wonderful line work. Also like the way you present the sketches! Very nice. You've inspired me to try to so some more creatures as I have only done one or two. Great work, can't wait to see more!

James: Thanks!

Ivan: I'll definitely try and vary the hues...color is still so foreign to me.

Sublimus: Thanks for the kind words.

Art.ful: Thanks. I am hoping to do more of the turtles soon.

Marjorie: Thank you! I'll keep pressing forward with any spare moment I can muster.

TonariNoPunpun: Thanks! I find the creature stuff pretty relaxing...so much flexibility. But I need to start spending more time on chars, particularly clothing, and environment stuff.

Trevor: Thanks! Looking forward to seeing your creature work.

Work was crazy busy today...followed by the 5 kiddos...finally a wee bit of time for some doodling, but this was all I could drum up...too tired. World's most generic dragon:

Trying to work on injecting more life into the poses, and starting to try and work on my compositions.

Take care folks!

Great start for your sketchbook, I'm really liking your digital line work, they've got such great dynamic flow in 'em, inspiring. The one piece with the bald guy flying at the camera is awsome, you should totally bring that finish.

Good colors and stuff as well. Loving what you've got thus far! :DD
