Thanks Fedodika!
smrrfette: this morning a solution to the touch wheel conundrum was proposed to me. It's about the alternative way of scaling your brush, holding Alt and then rght clicking and dragging to increase and decease brush size dynamically. I had mapped the right rocker button to alt anyways for colour picking and re-mapped one of the pen buttons to right click. What can I say, it's amazeballs compared to clicking a thousand times a minute on those damn rocker ring buttons. You should try it, it takes a little getting used to, but it is such an improvement... and the rocker ring buttons are freed up for other stuff.

those rock studies are soo juicy! Do you start with an underpainting in these or add the color vibrancy along the way?
I dunno if you are planning to go on with your personal piece, if you accept a humble critique, I might try putting some extreme foreground elements in there, both for compositional reasons and for helping to give it depth.. it has such awesome textures in it, but I feel it flattens it a bit too.. sorry if my crit is out of place, I don't mean to be rude :)
Your lighting study also kicks ass, that wood tile texture is just gorgeous..

"womb used to lay eggs" You should add a thing that says, "Spikes and pincers cuz they look cool"
