Big Kimo dumb plenty of days where i did very little. I've learned a tone of things from the younger generation that's left me quite windblown by

Man this is cool stuff!
Crazy poses and designs, I really like how you implement these plush toys / stuffed animals in some of your work.

I certainly can feel the way you simplify the hair help draw attention to the face it work mostly on darker hair but i think for other tone adding 10% more descriptive brush stroke just will help you avoid that same hairstyle look that seem to plague you. You seem to rely on the contour of the shape to give the hair it ''personality'' but don't forget about flow or form they don't need to be exaggerated but also think of the inner shape inside your shape.
Since i think i need someone to illustrate what it might look like here a tutorial i think would fit your style https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-KupUx6vr0k

Hey — dunno if I've ever stopped in to your SB before but man, I really dig what you're doing. Excellent figures, poses, and I love your color choices. Great job!

@ Jephyr - Thank you Jephyr XD Always happy to see new peeps pop in. I'm just happy I can post some character drawings after a day of painting rusty pots for work.
day 20! 100% want more teeth showing in future pieces there is a lot of fun. I'm starting to remember my process for drawing characters after my 2-year hiatus from them
03-24-2025, 08:37 AM
I love your figures, they're a lot of fun. You have a firm grasp of shape and form, lovely!
03-25-2025, 09:25 AM
@root - thanks I think im starting to see shapes more clearly now but I still don't 100% know what I'm doing XD
Kimo day 24 and 23 the other days were sketchbook drawings which I can't be bothered to upload. having some fun with cycle bikes, the temptation to just make them in blender and sketch over them was so strong but the wonk has a slight charm to it. ignore the goblin one =.= I lost a bet
